UNESCO included the celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the St. Petersburg Conservatory after Rimsky-Korsakov in the list of celebrations that are held under the auspices of the organization named. Appropriate notification letter was received, reported in the conservatory. The event format and time frame are agreed soon. Russia's oldest musical institution celebrates the anniversary in 2012 - Conservatory was founded in 1862, m. Its founder and first director, Anton Rubinstein, and the first graduate - Tchaikovsky.
