28th September 2008 will be a master class by Sergei Starostin, a famous musician and researcher of the Russian authentic folklore. Master of ethnic music to share with the audience the secrets of his skill and speak more than 20 years of his research. Master of Sergey Starostin opened a number of creative meeting entitled "tradition in modern sound", organized by the Centre of modern Russian music "Ethnosphera" with the support of the International Fund for Slavic Literature and Culture. The purpose of the project - to attract the attention of professional musicians for the conservation and development of traditions in contemporary Russian music. To the master class on current issues of integration of Russian folklore in the modern music environment will be devoted to integrating the techniques authentic musical motifs in paintings of different styles, from the experimental avant-garde academic genres, from classical voice, jazz-rock and ethno fusion. Sergey Starostin - possess a unique musician who methods of reproduction of the old musical instrument. His works are amazing combination of traditional Russian flavors and modern sound. Member of the famous "Moscow Art Trio", host of "traveling musician" on TV channel "Culture", a music producer from "Prince Vladimir", he worked with the famous Russian and foreign teams, popularizing ethnic traditions of the peoples of Russia. Sergei Starostin collaboration with Sergey Klevensky project "tradition in modern sound" is not only for professional musicians, music teachers and students from universities, but also the widest range of students in the history of Russian music and ethnic trends in the global dance culture vulture.
